A peaceful Caravan, Camping & Holiday Home Park in the Cheshire countryside...
Woodlands Park is surrounded by places to go and things to see. There is a private gate through from our site directly into Sandmere Fishing Lakes, owned by the Prince Albert Trust. Unfortunately fishing is for trust members only but it is lovely to stroll around at any time of year and the paths are flat and easy going.
All but a few hundred metres away is Boundary Water Park where clubs and individuals train for Open Water Swimming events. An attractive venue and much loved by aficionados of the sport... Brrr!
Not far away and a worthwhile visit for young and old is Jodrell Bank Observatory, part of the Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics at the University of Manchester. The home of the famous "Lovell Telescope", the third largest steerable radio telescope in the world, it is a sight to behold and an educational day out for all as it houses Jodrell Bank Visitor Centre There are three other telescopes there too.
The "Vale Royal" in the heart of Cheshire has lots to offer. Especially lovers of" the great outdoors". Take a stroll around any of the nearby country parks or try angling, water skiing or cruising on one of the many waterways. You may prefer to explore the hills with their spectacular views, the Derbyshire Peaks are only a short drive away.
But, essentially, relax and enjoy your own peaceful retreat in the heart of Cheshire.
